yep, today i've received my dilda. I've read that the lens gets dirty so it looses power, and in my country isoproyl alcohol is really expensive. To avoid that i've designed a condom for it, to protect the lens from dust when it's not used. I'ts attached to the wristwrap.

Sorry, crappy webcam.

And remember, to avoid Laser AIDS, always put them a condom ;)

EDIT: Ahm, the dilda works great. When properly focused it lights a match almost instantly (i think less than 1 second). It also pops balloons (the condom comes from the first balloon it popped) but I have to unfocus the dot a bit, because if it's focused it makes a puncture and the balloon doesn't explode it only deflates. But with unfocused spot the balloon pops from a long distance.

Same here :D

But where are you from?Even here in Brazil I can find isopropyl alcohol for a reasonable price from the internet or locally if you know the right places(about US$15 for a liter).

I was affraid this was going to involve laser illumination of places where the sun doesnt shine...

And that laser might easily burn a hole to your improvised cap if accidentely activated!

Here we use ethanol for that purpose, maybe it's the same where he lives. But is pure isopropanol avaliable at drug stores?I thought you used rubbing alcohol that is about 70% isopropanol.

You can get up to 91% isopropyl alcohol here, and it is very cheap, like under a dollar for a bottle. For really cheap alcohol, Everclear ethyl alcohol is about 95% alcohol. Other kinds are denatured alcohol, which is ethanol, but rendered toxic so people can't drink it (what they do with ethanol in general for cars too).

TWENTY EURO for 1 liter? It's like $2 for half a liter here. $5 for 99% on Amazon.com. It never seems you Europeans benefit from a stronger currency. I remember about five years ago, when the Euro was about $1.20 I could still import something from Germany and pay less--after shipping--than it cost someone to buy it there domestically. It's insane.
