Can I Have Some Help about make a Buring Laser ?

HI all

i wona to make a Burning Laser , using a DVD 16x diode , i know that's not a new thing , but it cool.

my Q is :

Can i use any thing instead of the Top of a Aisiz laser ?

any thing witch focus the laser ?

because i cant get one.

Not really no. You must have some kind of focusing module. You can also get modules here:

If at all possible, I'd go with the housing that Senkat offers at http://sales.stonetek.org/ as it takes forever for Axiz to send out his modules, and even longer than forever for a DX package to arrive. You can also have it pre-mounted in the module if you don't have a vice on hand to do it yourself (basically $1 labor). He also has component kits for driving these things, but I find the $15 a bit steep, so I'd go with BlueFusion's $4 kit (http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1195298965) if and when he gets them made.

actually DX has been pretty consistent in shipping me my modules in under 3 weeks.

First , Thank you for answering my question ,

iam no going to use the deiode with out a focusing module, i will use one , but do it have to be a Aizis module ?

i've found a picture in the web , ( attach ) , do the Aizis top look like it ? because if it dose , i think that i found some thing like it , its available where iam living , i will get it Tonight , and i will attach a picture for it , so that u can tell me if its work or not.

The picture you have is the bottom half of the module, the parts that you really need, I have circled on the picture at the bottom of my post.

I was just wondering, why you couldn't get the Aixiz module? I am soon going to order a set of ten of them. Maybe I could could send you one for a very small price? Smiley
