The Dealextreme modules are in there VERY tight, your best bet would be to drill a hole... But pot modding is bad, it will greatly reduce the life of the diode... you're much better off buying a more powerful laser.

Don't pot mod your laser, they are already pushed to there limits by the chinese companies to make producing them as cheap as possible.

By increasing the current you increase the amount of heat the diode produces, this will shorten the life by a considerable amount. It's only really worth doing with a cheap 5mW that you can pick up for a few dollars.

There are some really good greens you can get for a pretty fair price, whether it's from DX or O-like or Rayfoss.

I've tried pulling the module out of my DX green to clean the optics, if I remember correctly they are screwed into the head and then glued, I couldn't get mine out :(

DO NOT "POT-MOD" YOUR LASER !!!!! If you don't ruin it taking it apart, you surely will when you "POT-MOD" it. BAD IDEA, no matter which way you look at it------------- rob
