808nm LD on Ebay, need advice

Hello!

I want to assemble 808nm 150-200mW laser from components on Ebay.

First question:
I have seen 50mW LD for 13 USD
50mW 808nm Infrared IR Laser Diode w PD | eBay

And 300mW LD for 8 USD.
5 6mm 300mW 808nm Infrared IR Laser Diode | eBay

How could it be? 50mW for 13 and 300mW for 8 USD?!
Maybe 300mW not the real optical output of that diode?

Second question:
Need the 808nm LD with real optical output of about 150mW cooling? Or it could work without?

Don't build a infared laser. They are dim to humans eyes and would give you a false sense of safety. Also, have you got safety goggles for 808nm. Post a picture of yourself wearing it and the link where you got it from

I have not safety laser googles. Did I violate any rules of the Forum?

Actually I have 808nm laser, but it has low power - near 50mW.
I want to build 150-200mW laser, without fan, but with possibility to work long time without pause.

I have seen on the Internet laser lights for hunting with optical output about 200-400 mW. I want to build the same and that thread about it.

You didn't violate any rules but it's a good idea to put more info in your profile, especially your location so it shows under your name. This is a very global forum so people should at least know what country you're in, especially if you ask where to buy something. It's also recommended to post a thread in the welcome forum to tell a little about yourself so we can get to know you better. If you do this people will be more friendly and more likely to respond to any of your posts.

It sounds like you want to use this for night vision illumination, is that correct?

I smell a spam post, I used to order from lilymaria2002 but their listings were too optimistic, nothing I ever bought from them in the past would do the amount of power they said it would.
