hey man,

i put this diode in a host a while ago:

With good tec cooling it can reach over 800mW as i found out.

Why do you attach the TEC pins to the diode?

Sorry i am really new to this.

no no no.

the laser diode sits on-top of the tec inside the T0-3 package to cool the diode.

the wires provide power to the laser diode and tec.

Nice Build ! :D , Thanks , I really should get a LPM tp test the diode , are you losing much light from the sides of the diode before the lens ? .

Currently my diode Is held at 20C *

POLISHEDBALL does a lot of TEC cooled builds in projectors. He was showing me a few when I was over
there. He never runs them under 68°F and has never had condensation issues, even in the basement
where the projectors are.

Where did you get it?

crank it to 5C and power it @ 800mW... I dare you :eg:

If I do , I expect a cookie , Wait 2 cookies ! :p :D

I need this diode...Where did you get it?

Only place I've seen this diode, it was being sold for $550, along with a 150mW 622nm diode that needed 5C for around the same price.

$520 for the C-Mount package. Their cheapest (standard) package, the rest are custom.

Interesting, wondering if it's possible to hit the 5C on a handheld with a TEC...
