250mw red laser

Hey everyone, I ordered a 250mw laser from a forum member on here, can't wait to get it! However, I have a few questions. First, I need to buy some cheap but good laser goggles for this red laser, where should I get them from? My budget is $40 or under, that is all I have right now. Second, what can I expect from this laser? Should the beam be visible? Other than light matches, popping balloons, etc., what else might it be able to do?

If this is your first laser, your going to be surprised at the brightness of it, especially if you don't have any green lasers. Also here are some goggles (not the coolest looking lol) for $29.99 http://www.dragonlasers.com/catalog/Red-laser-beam-protection-640-750nm--Laser-Eyewear-p-16255.html . Your laser should be able to burn through cd cases. The beam IS visible during the daytime indoors on my 200mw red when looking towards the beam opposed from looking "with" it.

I do have a 50mw green laser, it is pretty cool. Will the red be brighter or about the same, because I know that green is more visible than the red. How do you like your 200mw red laser?

The dot of my dx30 romisen is about the same as the 200mw red laser I have. However, the beam is much more visible on my green laser.... The green laser is more fun to play around with at night but I like my red laser for messing around during the day, lots of fun to burn stuff.

If the laser has a ajustable lens it will burn black things,i have a 250 red you wont be disapointed
