201mW Coleman Max Host Build with a Red LOC 20x from Mohrenberg "Heavy Pictures"
Hi, All
Just final finished everything on my Red 201mW Coleman Max Host Laser. I am using the 650nm 20x LOC diode. I got the Heatsink from Mohrenberg >>Here<< and picked up the host from Walmart.
I really like this host its one of my favorite. :thanks:Mohrenberg for this build.
The Host is well made and easy to work with. Its made out of aluminum along with the heatsink from Mohrenberg. With this heatsink and the LOC at 201mW it does not get hot but very very slightly warm at 2 minute on time. So it dissipates the heat very well. (I stick to the 1 min rule most of the time unless iam making a video.) It has a Forward Clicky switch, witch is easy to press but not enough to go off in your pocket. It has this COOL Red ring around the tail cap clicky that i thought it would be cool to put a red laser in this host to keep it uniform.
The threads are very smooth and does not feel like there is a chance of any cross threading. I am using a single 14500 with a Groove2 Driver Pushing 201mW. This host comes with 2 CR2 batteries so that is an option also. But make sure your driver can handle 6 volts.(Side Note: You can also use this host for a Green Module and use 1 CR2 battery "Just let Mo know" or use it with a 405nm and 445nm laser build.) I am using an Aixiz Red glass lens in this build as well.
So Overall i am Very Happy With this build. It really is a nice host in my eyes. :thanks:Again Mohrenberg you are a really nice guy to talk to.
Heres the Pictures:

:thanks:For Looking Everyone.
