Hello I just got the 200mw new style red pointer from 0-like, and i cant seem to get it to burn or pop baloons? I got a 50mw green one from them and it pops balloons, so wondering what the deal could be..

There is a 3mm or so thick cap on top of the big head that is used for focusing. If you are turning the big head that is incorrect first loosen the small cap on top a couple or three turns. Then hand tighten the big head down and leave it there. The focusing is done only with the cap on top.

I don't focus mine that way. I use the entire head. Removing the cap is to gain access to the lens under it. This is not like the old style red, use the entire head to focus. You can focus the laser anyway you want to I guess, but I use the head which is why it has the knurled grip on it. :)

I dont know, I cant get it to light matches, I popped a baloon with it with a sharpie dot on it about 8 ft away, and burn a hole in a black trash bag, took awhile to burn the hole though. The laser dot has a line through it about 6 inches long when I shine it against a wall, is that normal? Im new to these lasers, I got the 50mw green torch from 0-like it can pop baloon and make a match smoke but not ignite, seems the 50mw one does better then the 200mw red one..

Do what everybody has been saying and focus it. The dot has to be a tiny point to burn, and even when focused it should be hard to burn skin.

Well I got the focusing under control now, burns matches preety good at about 6ft away, and I caught my boxers on fire burned a preety big hole in them.. How far can you guys burn stuff? Does this sound about normal for a 200mw red, oh ya I can burn red matches close up but takes a little while let me know if sounds right for the dilda..

If you can't focus it properly... try using a Magnifying Glass..

BTW... It is easier to focus the laser's beam to the smallest dot
if you use Laser Safety Goggles...

I assume you have a pair of Laser Safety Goggles for your 200mW
Laser...

I meant I'm curious that this would happen, Susie test them when she sends them out so I am thinking user error.

Video for help?
