Hello all,
I have just started doing my project on laser engraver.
So i got every part needed and wanted to test the laser. I hooked it up to the power supply regulating voltage and current. But i all got is laser beam with no power to burn electric tape. I used laser driver from Aixiz, but it did not help. BTW the laser I'm using is this
Mitsubishi 660nm RED Laser Diode 150 200mW CW 400mW Pulse 5 6mm NEW IN Pouch | eBay
Would anyone suggest me what should i do to get it working (if it is possible at all) ???

Get a better laser? A 150mW red is pretty low powered. The fact that you'll need to focus the beam to a tiny point means you might as well just use a light bulb and magnifying lens.

Hi,

If you could post some pictures or at least a detail explanation of what exactly did you build, and what effect does it produce, we could be able to help.

What current is your driver out put set at? What module did you use? Is your driver a linear step down, buck, or boost converter? What power source do you use?
