There's a nifty beam splitter in there used to split white into three colors. Anything worthwhile you guys see?

Looks like you have some dichros, line generators, and plenty of optics to experiment with. You could use the power supply too, if its good.

Power supply is definitely good. Not sure what I would use it for though. I've already got a variable filtered D/C power supply for testing along with every type of power supply imaginable lol.

Is that a glass Dicho cube in the middle of your pic?
If so, how much do you want for it?
PM me.

If you haven't done it yet, be sure to hit that phosphor wheel with some 445 or 405 goodness. The amount of green that comes off of it is unreal. :can:

I have no idea what the dichroic beam splitters are worth. It's pretty huge, I can pull out the digital calipers to measure if you want. Could you give me a ball park idea? I will let it go cheaper than whatever the going rate is. I can't see myself using it any time soon.

Mine is still sitting assembled in a box. I only got one for the red Phatlite. But that project has been put on hold. I have too many other projects going on all at the same time.

I have seen them on eBay for way too much in my opinion. It's just a hunk of glass!!

I deffinately don't want to spend that much on a hunk of glass.

Haha, I just checked out ebay and the price range is ridiculous. The one I have seems to be huge by comparison.

I have an older coherent laser meter and red/green/bluray lasers. Would you like me to do any particular tests with it?

Yeah right, yours is small. Go search any Craigslist and you can find a free rear projection TV. There is a HUGE cube in there, plus all kinds of other goodies. You could probably find free broken TVs like yours too. You can also use PBS cubes from empty sleds to combine beams.

Just because they are listed on eBay does not mean they are being sold.

I dont want it, I was just throwing out there what I thought it was worth. Before Polon posted that link you probably would have taken $10. Why dont you do the kid a favor and hook him up. Its not like you were going to use it. $20 is fair for a piece of glass pulled out of a broken TV. You'll make the kids day.
