Protip: The old laptops (what I have) are good for about 2 years, then they slow down and break. SO DONT buy a white plastic laptop. However, the new metal ones seem rock solid and my friend has had one for about 3 years now, it's working fine. My mom's old mac desktop lasted for about 10 years before the screen started failing, now we have a new one. It looks SOOOO nice, it's all metal and glass, really futuristic. However, next I'm just gonna take the $1300 I would have spent on a macbook and use it to make a pimped out overclocked SLI machine with LEDs and CCFL all over the place. It will be awesome.
