Hi guys can anybody name and give alternative uses for the parts listed in this PHR-803 sled ?
parts I do know (I think) from reading other threads

1 turning mirror. how does this work it looks like a prism ?
2 splitter cube. how does this work ? is it wavelength dependant ?

sorry if the pic is a bit big I didn't want to lose any detail

The splitter cube is a PBS(polarized beam splitter), it uses the polarization of the laser light to reflect or transmit the beam. The turning mirror is a mirror, it reflects, but only certain wavelengths. Its is coated to reflect blu-ray and red light. green light can pass about through but only about 80% so it can be used as a cheap dichro. This information is EVERYWHERE on the forum, please use the search button .
