hello,

i need optics for focusing an Osram SPL PL90_3 laser diode, without diverging at long distances. it is a 905nm laser with 200x10 micrometer laser aperture and 9x25 grad. divergences (you can check datasheet for more specifications)

what kind of optics should i use to collimate the beam? thanks for your help..

For what application? A diode with an emitter area that large is a poor choice for low divergence.

The standard is to use a regular collimating lens and then expand the fast axis with either prism(s) or a cylinder-lens telescope.
