^I've come across that guy before, (recognise the kit), in my trawls and wouldn't mind having a go at something like that. In a wild pipe dream, I was thinking the other night about those reflectors on the moon that NASA placed for laser measurement of the distance... Now that WOULD be a challenge! Also the laser microphone that's on YouTube, (bit more down to earth).
Burning stuff IS, and will always remain fun. Building stuff too, but a practical use is a good goal.
I'll check out AnchorOptics too as the 2 x £11 FS mirrors I bought from Edmund are pricey for only 7.5mm and 12mm respectively! Just need to finish the project they're meant for!!!! ;D
