I'm not sure if this is the right thread, let me go ahead and apologize if its not.

I've seen a few pictures of people who have built hosts that have some kind of illuminating bands or glowing spots on them. I was wondering what they were called so I could learn more about them.

Thanks,

Lucian

I Believe you're referring to tritium vials. They are radioactive but generally harmless unless swallowed.

They can glow for over 10 years if new.

I did a quick search. I think those are it. I had no idea they were just illuminated all the time.

Are there any other cool addons similar to these?

Like in a circular band fashion?

I put a lot of glow-in-the-dark O-rings on some of my lasers and torches. Often there are grooves in the host which they slot into nicely. It adds grip and makes it easy to find your laser in the dark.

You may want to search for them in another store though. The ones linked don't glow for very long. They used to have much better ones.

Glow powder mixed with clear epoxy. Also, there is a member here who fills hollow tubes with glow powder to make custom, strong-glowing o-rings.

Lol lots of good places for me to look guys and MUCH appreciated. I'm working out the kinks on one of my builds now and I'll be in touch with some of these suggestions for my next 3 builds (V1 Magicsticks I'm going to call "The Triplets").
