Melles Griot 10x Beam Expander

What do you guys think about this beam expander?

Hey Nano,

The question is not the beam expander, but the adapter that makes it fit to your laser (I assume an RPL mentioning the one at Opto).
I was going to get one like this, but a member of the forum who used to be able to have an adapter made for it moved and can't have it done anymore.
Also Jack at optotronics said that they do not sell any adapters for the 10x expander, but only to the 3x.
He also said that less is sometimes more and he sugjests the 3x since it's smaller and can be handled better for a hobby laserist like many of us.

Anyway the price on ebay is I think o.k. but also the owner was not able to inform me about any deatails of the expander when I asked.

Anyway this beam expander has a male c-mount screw and it's a good thing since mine have only a female screw... Now you must find and adapter that fit on your laser pointer and has a female standard c-mount screw like that in the picture.
