Hi, i want to correct the laserbeam of the BGP-020 from Boblaser. After i played a little bit with the bad optics of the laser i have now a acceptable Poweroutput ( the lens holder was not glued on the correct position ). But my problem is still that there is a acrylic lens inside and the false lens too, because if i adjust it to infinity i get a beam diameter of about 4 - 5 mm. I can make a focus to 50 cm or 1 meter as example...but i could not get a straight beam with a diameter of < 1,5 mm. That it is possible on so highpowered handheld laser i just saw it because my CNI 500 mw handheld has just arrived and its amazing ;D . A super thin beam and it peaks up to 750 mw and stands on over 600 mw.

I will make a new housing too ( with a great cooling ) for the BGP-020 and not such a bullshit that Boblaser made. I have all equipment in my work to do it. But before i make a new housing i must first correct the Beam of it that it will make a beam with a diameter of 1,5mm.

I Hope somebody can help me and tell me where i can buy good lenses and which lenses i need to make a good beam diameter. When all finished i will make a Photo of it and share it here.

What is up with people buying from Boblaser?
Did they become famous all of a sudden?

Who would even buy from a company called Boblaser?

1. It is good that we talk about such bad company like boblaser, that others not buying from them if they read it.
2. It is possible to get a good and "cheap" product too from other Companies ( like CNI ), why should somebody pay 2 time or 3 time much money  ?
3. It was not my question and it goes to offtopic
4. I want to learn more about optic and laser.

I hope you understand what i mean.

Is it such a wrong thing to ask and learn ?
I spent now a much of money for all my stuff, but it is ok for me, because it is a hobby and a hobby cost money, others will say with the money of this which i spent now i could buy a good laser from company x, but that isn´t it, because you can learn nothing. I have one good now and one bad now, with the bad now i can test now a little bit or not ?

Just got a e-mail from CNI, they sell me the things i need, no searching anymore...
CNI rocks ( the laser i got from them is working great, cuts CD case, burns a hole in 2 seconds from 2 meter distance )
