I am looking for a fiber optic cable (around 25 ft) to shine my green 30mw laser through. I am hoping to be able to buy it at Fry's, but with fiber optic network cables, fiber optic audio cables, and so many more, I dont know what to get. I have heard to just buy 25 FT of cable and cut the connector off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get a large diameter fiber (250um if possible) and a focussing lens normally used to collimate laser diodes. Add ducttape or something better and there you go. You can leave the connectors on, no problem and even easier to handle.
Or do it properly and expensive, buy a fiber collimator (expensive parts) made for the proper wavelengths and pick a good fiber, depending of you application you can go multimode or singemode.
