Dragon Lasers just started producing new expander and adapters for the Spartans and other models. They also have adapters for you own lasers. I just ordered two of each. I'll publish once I get to try them out. The adapters work on heads up to 29th diameter I think.

How much $, what wavelength range, power and expansion factor?

mine showed up today. not tested but wanted to share pictures, mostly of the universal adapter :). this will fit a ton of different lasers

So how does this screw onto your spartan.... Just with threads ?
And then you can adjust the bea expander with the screws or something ? to copensate with a crooked beam ?

I bought a adapter that is for the Spartan only 1st picture. Now that you mention it I'm not sure how it's going to be keeping the laser perfectly straight with them adjusting screws with the universal adapter. My 501b host laser won't fit also :( couple more picture for you, last picture is expander open all the way.

starlight, it looks as if your 501b almost fits.
That adapter looks like it has a thick enough construction to slightly bore the I.D. out to fit the 501b nicely. Maybe .5mm to 1.0mm or so on a lathe.
You may also want to look into replacing those steel socket head screws with some nylon ones, that would prevent any damage to your lasers finish.

I did something similar to my Jetlasers B.E. adapters -here-

yes the 501b would fit with 1mm of space comfortably. and thanks for the nylon screw idea I was thinking of what I was going to cover the lasers with if they fit now I'll use nylon. your pictures give me many idea's thank you

your screen name says your a Chevy guy, nice. I got many friends that live in their garage because they are always tinkering on cars and know another guy with over 200 cars in his collection.

No problem, glad I could help.

Yes, you're right, I'm an old (me & the car) Chevy guy, most people don't know that a "Bowtie" guy is a Chevy person!
200 cars, now that's a serious collector! I've only got one, a 67 Nova SS. :D

if your interested I'll shoot you a PM next time there is a get together and you can stop by and check out his cars, if Brighton isn't to far to drive. I'm sure a fleet of Ferrari's (Enzo, F40, 288GTO, 599GTO etc. a LeFarrari arriving soon) a few Lamborghini's (including a Reventon) a Bugatti Veyron tons of other supercars around 60 Corvettes (some very rare including the first ever with a V8) and a room full of muscle cars again some very rare that might interest you. let me know if your interested and I'll contact you with all the info directions and such.

Muchas Gracias starlight!
I would indeed be interested, Brighton is not too far from my place, especially to see a collection like that.
