Hey guys,

Scopeguy20 is doing a CNI group buy pretty soon so i decided i would get a high powered green. Im getting the one that runs off of a single 18650. It is about half way down this page. It says : PGL-III(-C)-532/5~500mW

I wanted a beam expander though. I was going to go for LG but I would need a custom adapter (i think...correct me if im wrong..). I was told that DL sells beam expanders that fit this laser so i was considering theirs. Has anyone used a DL beam expander? Did you like it(pros, cons ect.)? I might be willing to spend a little extra money for a quality beam expander from LG if it will fit...

Thanks guys!

CNI sent me a picture...1) they are kind of ugly 2) you would probably be better off buying one from DL or LG (DL is cheaper...you will need an adapter for whatever laser you get) 3) not sure how easy focusing it would be...i may just splurge and get one from LG. I probably wont need an adapter and it looks super official :D

Hmmm I don't care how it looks, I just want one that fits and isn't expensive

Btw dl is only for pen lasers. The one I'm getting isn't a pen

Which are you getting? Im getting a PGL-III that takes a 18650 battery. I dont think it fits without an adapter. Also the DL one isnt for pens. If you can make an adapter and if the beam is <2mm it will work. I still might go for LG though...

No look at dl, its for their viper pen series

Anyways since cni makes the expanders hopefully they do fit on their bigger lasers. I'm waiting for glenn who is organizing the group buy for an answer.

With an adaptor does laserglows fit on?

DL's dont fit any laser without an adapter(Look at this video: YouTube - Laser beam expander). Even their pen series need an adapter.

From the pictures CNI's looks really small...look on their website. You would probably need an adapter for that too...The reason i think LG's would work is that it has an adapter pre-built in. It is made for their aries series which i think is the same as the PGL that i am getting (which laser are you getting?). I emailed LG asking them about it...ill tell you what they say...

Hmmmm me too. I know you need an adaptor for DL

But! It does not fit the bigger series in any way. Just like that aries x10dr and hercules x10dr are different, basically the aries fits like the DL laser

I don't know if CNI's fits the hercules like lasers or hulk ultra. Do you know?

Yeah. You will need an adapter for the bigger ones. That is why i was considering LG's. I emailed LG to ask for what sized laser their beam expanders fit. Hopefully the CNI style ones...

Alright I'm buying the CNI One, can you show me the pictures they sent you? BTW the PGL III C isn't the same as the Aries I think. I can't be sure. Does someone want to Chime in here

Isn't the Aries just use C batteries, and The Hercules has their own fan in it and it uses the 18650 batteries. So the Hercules is the PGL III C and the aries is the PGL III A I think

Regardless CNI said their beam expander DOES fit the one that uses the 18650 battery. And its only about 105 dollars

No. The PGL that uses the c batteries is the Aries. The one that uses a 18650 is just a take-off of the Aries. The one that uses 18650s is NOT the herc. Pm me your email and I will foward the message CNI sent me.
