they are cheaper than usual mounts, aswell - and adjustment should be more faster i think...

Hmm, I think I'll need to check out a translated version of that site a bit later, you may have something here

If they're cheap I'll get some to try for my RGV scanner. Plus once they're in a good position I could always put a few drops of glue on it to stop it from moving around just in case.

Looks like they have a minimum order of EUR 50.00 goods value, then tack on 19% sales tax, a EUR 15.00 charge for a "small" order, and then shipping - it's not looking good

It looks like adjustments have to be done by hand and could lack precision which would make alligning more difficult.

I bet it would be able to make this thing yourself...

CNC' a cylinder with round hollow, glue a stick to a spherical magnet, and drop it in, adjust it, and if you want glue it too to fix.

I agree wholeheartedly. the screw-type positioning system used in most standard optic mounts allows for extremely fine adjustment, and with micropositioners (which are in a whole different price ballpark) you can make microscopic adjustments if that's what you need.

I'd try one of these to see for sure, but don't be surprised if you get pretty frustrated trying to set alignment with one.

Great for lab setups and experimental beamtables but not for projectors I would say...

I couldn't adjust that at 0.001" increments--- Might be fun for basic mirror direction adjustments but not for RGB allignment.
