I got a yellow hene tube and power supply from Dave (daguin) and of course received an excellent laser. I built an enclosure for the tube and for the PS from extruded aluminum. This laser has a beautiful golden yellow color. Output power is 1.6mW.

Very nice! I still haven't seen any yellow lasers yet, but I hope to soon.

Is that just for this one? I had always thought that yellow HeNe's were 594.1; is that just normal variation?

Mostly I've just seen 594nm reported. Between 593.9 and 594.1 I'll give it to you ;)

Was that your laser Yellow HeNe Dave? I was seriously considering buying that one for a while, but I had some other things get in the way.

Yeah. This is the one you were thinking about. It was the last one I had on hand (for sale).
