Yeah I scratched the lense of my 473nm, hope CNI is able to repair it cheap ;)
Beamshots are going to follow at some point.

I don´t know the correction factor for the 473nm of my HLPMII, so I don´t know it´s output. The value Jerry has in his datasheet is from 1 person, so not representativ.

The 405nm has tested 93mW, a way overspec!!!

I hope CNI is able to custom paint my future GLP-589 yellow.

Hey dj where did u buy the 473 from, gb or site..? And if u dont mind m asking what did u pay? I have a 16mw im in love with but 50mw plus would be amazing.

Hi Greg, I purchased it directly from CNI. It was about $700 including shipping and wire transfer. It´s my favorite laser and WL :)

Man would I love to have it, and yes I agree its by far the most beautiful wavelength IMO and thus my favorite laser. Even my 16mW is hard to put down.. So let me ask, when building your 50mW is the pump stronger? Or is it simply a matter of more efficient crystals that allows them to get 50mW out of it?

Thats a lot of money to pay.....but you can see where your money has gone...that colour is breathtaking.

The pump is stronger, but don´t ask me for exact measurements.

I really want a 473nm right about now but they are so expensive, beautiful, but expensive.

So much envy... the 473 blows that 405 out of the water in that video.

hey what is the diamater of those lasers?
i like how thick they are (dont even think about saying what you are thinking -_-) :p

I think Terbo ment the beam diameter, right?

In that case, the datasheet lists the diameter for the 473 as 1.5mm with a 1.5 mrad divergence and "near TEM00" mode (whatever that means), from the look of the 405's aperture it is nice and fat like the typical blu-ray pointers though. The datasheet for that says 3.5mm beam with 0.5mrad divergence "near round". Same dimensions on both for the housing though.
