Working on a concept for a dual/twin laser host. Going to have a switch on the head to select which laser is on (possibly both at same time). Thoughts?

Not sure if I have even seen that first flashlight actually! Just had a guy contact me about a dual-diode, and that is what I drew up.

As soon as I saw your drawing I thought of the klarus! Lools similar but none the less very cool. Only thing I dont like is the square edges but im sure this is just a preliminary design. You always do top notch stuff so excited to see final outcome oh and I need to message you tomorrow about buying a host but going to bes now

The head will be more rounded on the sides, when it is chucked in the lathe, we'll turn it to get rid of the sharp edges on the sides. Besides that, I'd like to keep it fairly basic in order to keep costs down so more people will be able to buy it.

Haha well this one is going to be fairly expensive. It is a special host for 5W red diodes.

Oh the c mounts. If I ever have enough for a c mount red, then you'll be the first one I contact. Go to lazerbeaks contest and look at my design. What do you think?

I was thinking about this last night..

I managed to get my hand on the latest 3d modelling software from a friend in UNI and rendered the following image..

Can you make that?

Not sure if I can match that fancy design you have there, but we could make a dual diode build. We don't do full assembly though, it'd be just machined components.

It's funny though I was going to ask you about a dual diode host as I discussed in my thread "poor man yellow handheld" because I can't machine "yet". How much are the dual diodes? I can't buy now but maybe down the road...

A dual diode host that would have space to combine the beams? Probably be near $200 for the host. Possibly close to $150 depending on how basic it is.
