Just showing off my new build, it's not but a simple 125ma PHR in a shiny aluminum case. The casing has a mounting tab flush along the bottom surface. I also added a key-switch to the back as a safety precaution.

DDL powered with a large heatsink inside, and a small one outside. Mains power. Thank to Drew from Modwerx, and Yobresal for the nice labels!

It's only a PHR, and I don't own a meter. All I know is, is that it melts my orange binder when focused to infinity through an aixis acrylic.

Thanks everyone! I've had the parts for awhile, but couldn't get it done until holiday break.

The host is this, a Stinger Audio output converter. I recommend this host because the front panel was relatively easy to drill through, there are mounting tabs on the bottom front and rear of the enclosure, and there is a pcb standoff built-in to the inside, making the DDL driver a breeze to put together and install.

I recommend trying this one out for yourself!

I have a similar looking heat-sink out of a PC I dis-membered, & a NEW PHR 803T diode, & a new DDL, LM317 driver, & after seeing what YOU did, I just might make myself a similar model. It would be my 1st labby. BTW, +1 REP for ingenuity in a slick, clean, & professional looking mini-labby. EXCELLENT WORK------------rob

I'm impressed, it look really clean and professional. I bet you would be able to sell it for few hundred.

I thought that was a professionally-built lab laser at first. It's a very small and sleek looking unit. Really nice.

Very well-done! :gj:
