Yeah, I know that this is a laser forum; but who doesn't love a Tesla Coil. This one is a DRSSCT and it produces streamers that extend past 24 inches. Bill

Then you might also enjoy the musical group Arc Attack.
Just do a search on youtube.
Their performances are pretty "electrifying".

Yes, This is my coil; but I did not build it. This one is a Dual Resonant Solid State Tesla Coil. The other type is the spark gap coil. That one produces large quantities of ozone, nitrogen oxides and intense UV radiation at the spark. The DRSSTC's are a bit more versatile as far as where you can actually use it. Spark gaps are a problem indoors. Bill

One correction though, it is dual resonant solid state tesla coil. Due to the matched primary.

Looks good! I my self plan to make a DRSSTC 30" tall secondary. Have all I need and going to start making it this month into janurary. Looks like yours works, looks good! Can it do audio modulation?

It would take a few mods and a midi box and USB interface. It's cool to play music through the arc with no speakers. Watch this video. Bill
