some more pics 2/23

These pics were taken about a month ago and were taken a week after the pics I posted on 1/27. There are a few different things I photographed in this batch from the last post:

The first ones I used the same mirror and laser configuration but added the large glass sphere in the middle to bend the straight laser lines into various oval shapes.

The second part I used two 473nms, a beam splitter. prisms and all of the surrounding mirrors. After those I switched out the blues for two 589nms and a 593.5nm.

The last part is using a Phillips Hue Go lamp. I have the Phillips Hue lighting in my living room and laser room and picked up the aforementioned Go light. It is battery operated so I used brought it in my laser room and the best shots were using it with the glass cube and a beam or two. I took a while to get pics that looked like more than a lot of beams and a colored light. There are some interesting minimalist (at least for me) ones that do look nice. I have since photographed a few more times and have gotten some nice results, but these were my first attempt.

Bruce, I read your post and didn't even look at the pics before wanting to +REP you for how fantastic you are at what you do. Thanks for being a member here. I personally appreciate what you bring to this forum. I was just thinking about you yesterday and today because I hadn't seen you around although that may have been my fault as I'm all over the place here and have been building and talking to so many members. Thanks again for the wonderful pics. I realize it has to take a lot of time and effort. +5 and I would do more if I could

I really like the orb part of pic 4 and the more minamalist pics and ones with just one color the best.
Those last shots with the cube are really something. Can you explain the cube like in that last pic? I'm confused as to what it actually looks like if you look at it with no lasers through it.
Huh, I just read infins comment on #4 and it looks like we have good taste Actually we all pretty much are in general agreement. Maybe you could put a # before each one and we could comment on what we particularly like easier. Looks like Diachi was able to REP you too. We are trying. The system is a mess right now. You sir deserve it from everyone.

Pman - Here a few pics of my glass cube taken with my cell phone just to give you an idea of it. It is 3 inches on all sides and has an indentation so it can be balanced on its edge. The indentation also creates weird internal reflections in the cube. You can also see in the first pic how even laid flat it creates all sorts of internal reflections. In the laser pics above it is only used on its side. Here a few of it balanced on its corner in action.

Bruce, other than the beauty of the pics, it looks like a whole universe going on with its black drop back and it mesmerizes till you remember it was done in a limited space I still cant get how meticulous a set up it is:beer:....Edit it seems like a few got some reps in.

shaken - Well I have shot around 100 laser photos every Friday night for the past 3 1/2 years with the only down time is when I moved last summer for a few weeks. Probably close to 12000-14000K shots. I also do normal photography but my "ME" time is when I photograph my lasers. It is alot of experience though, and I learn something every time and it has become part of my routine.
