Some beamshots on an ancient camera

Hey,

Decided i felt like making some beamshots tonight after watching brazil...GREAT movie...

1 insence stick was used to bring out beam, smelled horrible though, I ran out of the good ones :-/ Hope you enjoy the pics

I think the main trick is the insence. The camera is a Nikon Coolpix 2500 with a whopping 2mp

That's not so bad, about the size of your average desktop.

It appears alot of your lasers are modehopping tho :-/ :-/

Nah . . .Those shapes are artifacts of camera movement.

My lasers don't mode hop :-/

It wasn't the camera that was moving though, I was lazy and sitting on my couch while the camera was on a tripod, the problem was the moving lasers which were being held in my hands ;D, it was quite a sight to behold, IIRC only the RPL was in my lap for the group beamshot, the first picture is quite old, it is from before I salvaged the tripod from my attic.

Now that you mention it though, that would be some insane mod-hopping


Cyparagon, 2mp isn't that bad, but when my cellphone is 5mp and a good 5, 10 mp digi camera is the price of a decent laser, it is a bit on the pitiful side? :'( I still love it though, have had it for 6 years and used it for nothing but forum photography, it has served its purpose, looks like a female cam though...
