1W> 532nm DHOM lab laser
Credit goes to Jeffreythe00 for talking me into getting one of these, I bought one with the intent of projector use, but might as well have a little beam/pointing fun with it in the meantime.

The pictures once again, fail to do the laser any justice to what it actually looks like in person, but out of the hundredsome pics I took, these ones where the only ones "passable". I still need to figure out how to make my camera take better pics.

Its dark evening outside with dark blue skies, seems like full pitch black darkness didn't come for 2 hours later.

I bought an LPM and it is on the way, so when it gets here I can see the true power of this unit (from others reviews, can be 1.3W-1.8W, but LPM is the only way to confirm....)

Test fire

Beams

My hand in the way :) (also, hand got a small burn while I was doing that)

This is much more... Blinding... in person, pictures did fail to make it look its power :P

New pictures - 445nm + 532nm

Nice new toy...
How many watts does the PSU require from 120Vac...??

Took some readings, without getting into the whole mess involved in calculating real/apparent power of AC with this kind of load, I just used (V*I=P) to get a rough idea to the power consumption.

The average is around 50Ws. (Which isn't too bad for this laser)

Portable? no.... Luggable? yes...

EDIT: I just had a major breakthrough with the design, it will soon be available in a 2D mag, as a kit.

You have to be careful to choose a good one, though. This is the one I have and I'd think twice about feeding it this waveform:
