no i was talking about software because because he said "a program" for his web cam let's him change what color the dot appears.

What I'd like to see is someone get a beamshot from a normal laser and make it black and dark, so it makes things darker, not brighter.

Your 'black laser beam shot at night' pic was a pretty damn amazing bit of image adjustment genius, but I'd still like to see ^ :)

in photoshop:

Ctrl+U = colorization options

In the box that says "Master" you can select any color you want (ie. reds or blues) and using the sliders you change the colors.

hue changes the color
saturation goes from grey (-50) to normal (0) to full color saturation (+50)
and darkness is self explanatory
