red + green = yellow

Here are a few iPhone pics of my set up and three 12mm fisheye pics with my real camera.I thought about shooting from underneath and by using a 12" x 12'' piece of glass suspended about 7" high I would be able to fit my camera underneath for some weird views. I have also discovered by using my hematite magnets that when they are stacked up they way you see them here, if you use a hose connected to a fog machine you can direct the fog into the little structure and it oozes out the sides and hugs the bottom glass. I explained this to Arcticdude in a different post as he thought it was dry ice. So to photograph thru the glass looking up got some very colorful results, even though the beams look a little hazy thru glass. The two here, are using two 650nms and two 532nms. The first one has very little fog in the room. Just enough to light up the beams and no hint of yellow. I then pumped in the fog and got an intense yellow glow which is the second pic. Same exposure for both pics. The lasers and camera were in the exact position for both. Very different looking. A nice blending of two colors to create another. And there a decent all 532 pic looking downward . Enjoy

Another great effect. I also experimented with this, but in a bit different way. In my latest artwork with 520 nm and 635 nm. The effect is visible in higher resolution only and even smoke was used.

Nice, I am always amazed how white I can get RGB in a Styrofoam cup, not the multi watt lasers but 30mw green, 100mw blue and 200mw red and play with the levels a bit.

Now that 3d printed RGB build that Arctic built came out really good, very well matched beam specs, one day we will have a RGB laser diode with a triangle waveguide and all 3 in 1 diode, with a couple extra pins of course, it might show a bit in the first few inches but after that they should blend as long as the alignment is tight.

Maybe a double cylinder waveguide with RGB strips all around it, a dozen of each, that should mix well, but again it will come down to manufacturing alignment.

Yes, I was thinking about that idea as well earlier. I think it was even discussed in some thread here. It will be for sure awesome to have 3 in 1 diode.
