Imagine. This is Ray of Light which comes from nowhere. It appears up in the sky and goes down on Earth straigt into your background. You don't know where does it come from. It bounces off the small mirror you left there specially. Isn't it epic? :)

That beam divergence is good for photography. Look how beautiful that sexy, thick beam is. Yum ;)

Nice Photoshopped pics....

Jerry

Agreed. I like them, but they're really heavy on postprocessing.

You shouldn't have that much detail in the moon in a 1" exposure... go easier on the Lightroom sliders. Otherwise it just looks fake. ;)

Cool pictures.

I think there is a place for post-processing depending on what you are trying to get across to the viewer. There's nothing wrong with being a bit artistic if the circumstances allow. :)

I'm agree...the aim of these pics is not for a scientific paper ;)

Jerry, You would be surprised but that photos aren't "photoshopped" and I spent 5 minutes making them usable for forum, I'm sorry.

The only thing I made while converting RAW's to JPEG's is properly used Lightroom levels and contrast.. No color luminance and saturation adjustments. My light sabre photos were treated much more heavily and noone accused me of using PS.

There is no beam expander, beam is thick - near 4mm of diameter and 1,5mrad of divergence. Power is over 500mW on that lens.
Weather was beautiful for laser beam in that evening. Moon is very sharp becouse I know how to adjust focus manually using LV and how to use exposure times - finally I'm a photographer. :)

Thanks for kind words anyway!
