THE CYPREUS-II : Final Release

This is the Final revision of Cypreus-II , All copper, Some updates and features include.

- Drop-In Module heatsink.
- Set-screw for module adjustment.
- Accepts all 12mm modules with custom driver settings.
- Accepts all DTR modules with driver attached.
- Accepts all 17mm Drivers.
- Custom Battery Configuration EDC(18350) , Standard (18650) and XL Ltd. (2x18650)
- Beautifully finished surface (unpolished)
- Super Extended Duty Cycles.
- Plenty of Copper ensures enhanced diode life at enthusiastic currents.
- Grooved Handgrip.
- Smooth Focusing with Pre-Installed O-Ring.
- Removable tail-switch assembly for easy maintainence and repair.
- Solid Brass contacts for Extremely low resistance at higher currents.
- Straighforward assembly and plenty of space for wiring.
- Accepts protected/unprotected 18650's
- High Current (3A) switch.

Holy cow, good thing I'm wearing baggy pants. Sinner because of you I'm realizing I have a huge weakness for the all copper hosts. GJ

These look so awesome. Any chance of doing a run of 1x cr123/16340 mini hosts in either copper or aluminum that fit a full aixiz module?

Thorlabs - HL6750MG 685 nm, 50 mW, Ø5.6 mm, C Pin Code, Opnext Laser Diode

Thorlabs - HL6738MG 690 nm, 30 mW, Ø5.6 mm, C Pin Code, Hitachi Laser Diode

Lazeerer tested the 685nm doing good +100mW (iirc)
It´s a very nice rubin color if you haven´t seen it before

You might also find one for a better price than thorlabs is selling it

I loved how they turned out kind of rose-gold freshly baked copper look it is just amazing. Thank you all for the kind words :beer:

I made 2 titanium versions with copper inlays just before this host was finalized, Jmillerdoc has one and he's already wanting the other one that I made for my new builds. His review thread for the Ti-Cu hybrid Cypreus will be up soon.

I do plan on making the all copper series in all sizes and battery configs, I'll definitely do that next. :beer:

DAMN those look nice. Any way to clear coat them or something to preserve the shine of the copper? It wouldn't be as enticing if it was dull :/

Cause 1W 520nm is expensive, 685nm not

685nm is the most underrated wavelength imo :beer:

sinner is the laser design magician even David Copperfield can envy. Seriously now, pure copper host would match rather redder wavelength IMHO. Then again it'd be up to the builder which colour to choose and present it to the forum.
