Not so random as it is indeed laser related, but here's a leather holder/sleeve I crafted for my Sanwu Pocket Series laser:

That looks nice! I was looking at similar holders for my pocket series (designed for flash lights) on eBay and Amazon, none of them were as nice as your hand crafted holder! :D

Thanks! :yh: I'm thinking of making one for it's bigger brother, the Silver Series, but that would be around double the size so maybe a project for another day :p

One of the small sub rivers near my place has dried up recently. :(

Hopefully it's only temporary. Where I grew up, many streams dried up every summer, but were mid sized rivers again in the fall.

Meanwhile the phones of everyone in the office went off with emergency alerts not 30 minutes ago, with flash flood warnings for the area. Time with rain at the same time I plan to leave the office. Well, it's warm enough for a swim I guess :p

Went walking along for a bit, the small of decaying fish and mollusks was a bit off putting though. lol :barf:

It usually fluctuated with the seasons, but this is the first time I have ever seen it that far down.

A view looking the other direction:

And a bit further down the river, I often go swimming here, have swam completely across before, when the water was much higher than in the picture. Usually all those large flat rocks on the left rocks are completely submerged.

Been experimenting with long exposure now that I have a wicked nice tripod, and I got an idea last night. I put an image of a segmented rainbow pinwheel on my iPad, this one in fact:

so I cranked up the brightness and left the shutter open, and spun it while chucking it onto my bed. I think it looked pretty awesome, these are all scaled down from 6000x4000 to 1000x665, so full res album at the end if any of you want it, this lower res doesn't do it justice :)
