Gratitude, Bruce:beer:. A certain amount of light pollution is still a problem at my place, too:(. Gotta change the location soon, a darker one with a nice single laser beam to place in a composition (have already one spotted). Just waiting for the clear skies again...

Don't know how available this place is to you, but if you've never been to a Dark Sky site...you'll be in for a treat.

Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve

Established 2014

270 square miles (700 square km) of land in County Kerry, Ireland, have been designated an International Dark Sky Reserve at the Gold-tier level, making it the first Gold-tier Dark Sky Reserve in the northern hemisphere.

I don't know why, but when I see that dog (or another one but only if looks like this one) I have just one single thought in mind: Bacon!
Lol!, I like the last pic, I wish it would be better focused.

Cheers!

Went to the Himalayas(upper himalaya) again around 10th April.
This is around 3800 meters above sea level (12500 feet).

I was at the back of the house and the moon was huge and yellow.
Too bad I don't have a telephoto lens so it looks like a mini sun instead.

Upload them to your favorite online picture site, like Photobucket, then grab the picture's IMG tagged URL.

It looks like this, usually:

Simply copy and paste the link into your post, the forum's software automatically parses it and display an image linked instead.

This is the largest Morel I have ever seen in person.

Big%20Morel.jpg

My dad and his friend just went out the other day- I didn't go, because it seems whenever I go we dont find squat. Sure enough, they found 50-60 a piece--several of the them quite a bit bigger than the one in your pic. just insane. We will probably go back out sometime this week to the same spot.

Mmm, roll em in flour, fry em in butter. Delicious. Around here restaurants charge around 50$ a pint for them...I may try to find some place to sell to.
