My 445nm diode has died. Time for a vivisection of this diode. I use a dremel for this. I know there is a special decan-tool but I don't have it.
It looks very coarse but the diode survived.
Pictures taken with a Canon 7D with a EF 100mm macro lens.
The pictures below are taken with the EF 100mm macro lens with a reversed EF 50mm lens in front. This will give me a magnification beyond 1:1.
Can anyone show the emitter ?
