Re: k

Really fantastic pictures once again--all of them.

I especially like the sphere, spheres, and cube pictures but they are all really great.

Your excellent and inspired laser photo work, continues to amaze.

I totally f****d up! Every week after I shoot I put the photos that I may one day post thru Photobucket to put it into the "language" for posting on this forum. I then save each photo in a word document and have literally hundreds of shots organized by week that can be posted whenever. I can preview some shots and see how they look before I post them by putting them in a new thread to check out without actually posting them. To actually see them in Preview you have to give it a title I will just type in a few letters or in this case a "K"
And instead of hitting preview I posted at least 100 - 125 pics, maybe more.

Anyway, thanks for all of the nice comments! The ones I left here were taken a few days ago. It was my first attempt at this configuration. For the next week I will move some mirrors and lasers around and add some glass spheres. To the people who can this whole post before edited, you could see the progression from week to week I try to do. Sometimes they are subtle changes, but after 4 or 5 weeks of tinkering and photographing the same basic set up, I will try many different things some come out good and some not so good. After I shoot this weekend I will post a few pics on this thread to see what I added/changed from this time

On top of all the great pics and they sure were pretty I got to see the commitment to the setup of studio room. Kudos again:)

It's an explosion of colour, so satisfying to look at. I like that you have a "laser room".

Awesome pictures! I am still a fan of the Glass Ball you have. Could you do one with the prisms outputting into the crystal ball?

Hey Trendkilla - Thanks! When I shoot this weekend I will take some shots positioning the glass sphere to have the lasers go thru the prisms and into the glass sphere.

The beams going then coming back really show how Rayleigh looks brightest coming towards us. I have noticed this before and love taking pics of beams coming towards. Just have to block any lens flair and find that perfect angle.

Rayleigh scattering plays to our advantage when photographing lasers of varying powers. Point the weak ones at you and the strong ones away or sidewards, voila.
