PGL-III-C-473 polishing project ^^

Well, i just want to share some picture's with you people and in the end the end result of my polishing job on my PGL-III-C-473.

First results in

Stripping it down, both paint and inside :tinfoil:
Next is to give it a ultrasonic bath..

I think the end result will be awesome







Ofcourse this is just a start, and it needs allot of love and attention
I hope it will work out for me, for you to enjoy and maybe once sell.

I'm sure having a blast doing this, it makes me get my mind of things.

Gone do some changes on the inside aswell..

was this anodized? what did you use to strip it I have always used draino but I am looking for a better way. Also how good do those ultrasonic cleaners work, will it remove the paint thats hard to get off in areas that a knurled or like the rings around the pgl head? They are fairly cheap and I might be interested in getting one. After I polish something everytime i touch it my hand turns black i am hoping that might also take care of that.

That host sure looks BA in just flat aluminum. "Natural metal" just kicks me right in the kidney sometimes
