Ok, so basically I got really sick of my old core being all scratched and nicked up so what I did was sand all of the remaining black finish off and sand out any nicks in the brass housing. The only part I am not happy about is loosing the wicked lasers name and logo on it. It appeared to be somewhat etched into the housing however I lost it from sanding and painting. I used a metallic blue spray paint and I really screwed up the top and that is the reason for the brushed brass look although I am really happy with the way it turned out. I also gave the top more of an angled look if you can see what I mean from the pictures.

The reason for the thread is to just show off some laser pictures and maybe inspire some other people to makeover their beat up cores or show some existing pics.

Anyway here are the pictures, let me know what you all think  ;D

I used krylon spray paint. I took the end cap off and held the laser on a screwdriver and just sprayed away. There are 3 spots I messed up on. Hardest part is not over spraying so you end up with drips. Then you need to let it dry and sand them out and then spray again.....
