Dear Fellas!
I present my new work to the community, There are several hosts i have made, every design change to an upgrade and more detailed oriented host.
This time, A more practical yet 60% smaller than a C6 with roughly twice the duty cycle and a new addition of square cooling fins..
Its a Single Cell CR123A / 16340 Host..
The prototype build is 1.5W 445nm Laser X-Boost Build
The M140 gets quite hot after the normal 45-60s of usage in the Prototype.
So, What had to be done was..
- Used 16340 instead of 18350 , Results in thicker walls of the host so more heatsinking and got a great duty cycle too..
- Judco 10A switches were used in the MagicSticks previous models, This will come only with 3A Forward Clicky switch (not tested beyond 3A)
- No Set Screw (why?) The Heatsink is a complex design so the threads quality was more important. This design will need a vice / c-clamp to press the 12mm module, Just like a diode is pressed into the aixiz..
- Focus Adapter? Several Options will be available or you can always buy some fancy and anodized ones from MrCrouse, Or better get get the whole host anodized
- Lastly, Polishing these is a super difficult part since they squares can easily de-shape with extra abrasion so i dont think polishing would be free !
So enough with the Talks! Bringing out the guns :gun:
BUILD/TUTORIAL PICS:

:thanks: for looking!
