My Opt Lasers uRGB singlemode DIY RGB kit

This is a tiny awesome full singlemode RGB laser source.
I chose to assemble it myself. Thanks to Mateusz for this custom order.

It can run up to 275mA for each diodes for a 600mW white (R 180mW / G 120mW / B 300mW) for beamshow.
On picture it run at R=140mA G=200mA B=140mA for a perfect white on DOT/walls.
I use the long focal single element lens "G7" (mounted inside the Aixiz 3element barrel) to get a very low divergence RGB laser

Nice job--looks good.

Outstanding alignment of the RGB module is usually the case when supplied complete--appear you did a great job of that also albeit a liile off in the blue maybe from the pictures--not sure how adjustable they are but excellent results are the norm for OPT supplied completed units.

OPT makes excellent quality items for prices paid/at reasonable prices---is a great resource for hobby people.

Nice job with assembling this three beam white laser light DIY RBG kit. I haven't looked to see what they are asking for this project, but I'm sure it isn't cheap. I need to look into outsourcing some of the parts to see if this can be done more cost effectively.

I asked via e-bay a couple months ago and they said $260 for the mount without diodes or drivers.

I'm thinking about a 3-4 watt DIY on this mount. I'm excited to see how straight forward of a project it seems to be.

This is the first test, now I get a tiny white dot even on far field tested with binoculars. divergence is outstanding

The OPT design is awesome and very easy to tune !!!!!
First tune for perfect focus at far field, assemble and align 3 beams !

Opt Lasers sell already a 3.5W version (you can ask as kit like me lol) the same as uRGB but with a fan

The easier way to align is with a mirror few meters away

I just finished the definitive driver (I also ordered as kit for throughhole component because I prefer to do all myself for hand solders)

I have a dummy load that is almost the same as the one you have pictured, except i built mine and used a 1% 1 ohm resistor. I was looking at the 3.5 watt RGB projector with drivers, but think I can build it for much less than the $1000.00 they're asking for it. Might use one of OPT Laser's optical bench, but the rest can be had much cheaper. I was amazed at what they ask for simple drivers. Many of their mounts seem to be old surplus stuff that is floating around for sale from other sources.

PS If you can, would be a good idea to reduce the size of the pictures--would make them much easier to see for all members.

And please do not spread faulty information. We are producing and assembling everything here in Poland.

About the price. Buy 10 pieces and we can bargain without a problem. We are mostly doing customized lasers for laboratory use, so we have a lab and 11 workers to maintain.

Exactly what I thought, they are great mounts and I haven't seen any similar anywhere,
Although I made some as close as I could to your design and they are very easy to align.

Hi Badboybilly,

Yes, the mounts from OptLasers by their footprint of 10x16mm can only be compared to Lasertack´s ones - everything else is essencially bigger and not adapted for micro setups from my point of view.

Hi Serveurperso,

It looks like you were using the ultra glue invented in our lab (sold as Fischer brand) to fix the dichros to mounts. Where have you bought it - in Paris?
Could you please give us a little feedback: how fast is was, how well does it hold?

BTW: Me too have purchased the Optomecanical set from Mateusz. I want to adapt it for PBS/KE of two or three NUBM44 or other high power LDs but probably will have to make a "universal" custom holder for 3 12mm Cu modules first.
