Does your camera really pick up on that much light at long exposures? The one labeled "the night sky" looks like a day time sky. :O

Is a 50mw green "really" that bright?

Nice shots.

woah my 50mW from O-like is definitely not that bright. You can't see the beam of mine at night very much and my camera can't really pick the beam up at all (but my camera is pretty crap...). Perhaps mine is underspec...lol lately it seems I've always had bad luck with purchases of anything

not, 50 green isn't so much visible, I used long exposure (5-10s) + F6 (if I good remember), and it was foggy when I took those pics.
that night sky I took 30s@F6
and don't forget to set your camera to Manual mode

ooh and I was so f*ckin' sad that my PHR's dead... :cryyy:

one of many questions I guess I forgot the answer to... how is it possible to write the words on a photo again... I'm sure I've asked this before, I would
be able to remember some stuff longer, but I'm assalted daily with meaningless banter.:can:

By having long exposure and moving the beam around as it is exposed. It's the same effect you get when taking pictures of fast moving objects, (the blur).

Don't do this -.-

As he said it's the camera that is doing the trick!

So how visible (to the human eye) would a 50mw 532nm be really?
Ive only owned a 5mw, it's "ok" visible, but still pretty faint.

I'm going to be getting a 95mw cni from Glenn soon and wondering how the beam will look.

check out the pics on my review page in my sig... that's an o-like 50mw and I get similar results with only 8sec exposure!
