It is just a simple starburst type diffraction grating. It gives a nice beam split and separates the multilines

Here is a closeup of the diffraction disc.

nice! Is it set up for current control or are you using the knob on the power supply?

Using the knob for "light control" SOMEONE never got back to me on the cost of extra pins and such.... :p
I would love to have the remote controller for this - as well as an electronic aperture, and ESPECIALLY the fibre adapter !

LOL.... Sorry I totally forgot!! I read that message and went to bed, intending to reply back when I got up. So you're saying there is a fiber adaptor made for the 2201?? Because THAT would be awesome! I'm in the process of building a remote, its actually set up in a way that makes it pretty easy to build a remote from scratch. its pretty much just the pins holding me back from finishing it off. Oh yea mine has the electronic aperture, but I haven't decided where to tap in for power yet. There is a +15vdc source, but thats what is providing voltage to turn up the amperage for current mode, so I don't know if it will be able to provide to full voltage to the current sense pin if I tap in the electronic aperture as well.
