Guess I'll be the first to comment. Glad you got a working 445nm laser! I'm sure you are aware of their dangers, but they are one hell of a beautiful color :)

How well is that heatsink going for you? Stays prity cool?

well the heat sink stays pretty low on temp , even after 45m , 1 hour it's not much more then 85 - 96 F , but i still run @ 660 700mA in these pics
I ran it @ 900mA today 3.6 V , time to add a lil coolfan ( later ) but im pleased with this cheap laser :) cheers!

Cool build ;) Does the head of the aixiz module keep cool? or does it have more temperature than the heatsink? seems like there were no good contact between module & heatsink... if you have used silicone like paste to fix it to the heatsink, remember this compounds haven't a good thermal conductivity.

The head was indeed warmer than the heat sink , but not hot.
I am going to build a better heatsink ,this 1 i used temporarily
Ive been thinking to use this one lol
