Radiohead's new video for House of Cards was "filmed" in a rather unique way...

The video uses no cameras or film but rather a sophisticated 3d mapping LIDAR device that uses 64 lasers to scan a 360° field over 900 times per minute.
Knowing Thom Yorke's style, I'm certain that all the glitchy random looking effects were added afterwards and are not a side-effect of the process.
Another really unique thing about this video is that he's gone and released all the custom software and all the captured 3d data that was used to create the video under a Creative Commons license so that anyone can make their own videos based off it or use the data in any of their own work (with certain restrictions.)
