Thanks all!

2007Revolution, yes the yellow lasers are a 5mw 589 and a 6mw 593.5 ? I envy all the people who are getting the 80 mw in the CNI GB. I may get one next time someone has a CNI GB that offers at laser.

Photons, a ton of fog is correct!

there should be a photo gallery here at LPF to inspire some new members to get into lasers and such. Im sure yours would reel quite a few new members. Nice job:beer:

I always like coming back to Multimedia section, Brucemir's laser art is one of the reasons, indeed:). His sense and patience for the detail are remarkable, very close to perfection.

High quality laser beams attraction combined with optics never gets old, there's always an inspiration hidden.

Forgot to ask Bruce.

What diffraction gratings do you use? Their clearly better quality than the thin flexi ones we're used to?

Hi ped,
I use Dragon Lasers diffraction gratings, fan and matrix. They are glass and cost 11.99 US dollars and are much better than the flexi ones (I have some Optotronics ones and they are not very good and difficult to use). The DL ones are approx 2.5" x 1.5" I think. If you see in some of my pics, you can see them mounted on an alligator clip. For the fan ones, if you put them landscape, you get a horizontal fan, and if you put it portrait, you get a vertical fan. I have 4 of them and like to mix horizontal and vertical to get nice effects

I aslo have a Laseglow one that creates 5 parallel lines but is expensive as it set me back 65 dollars as is only about 1/3" in diameter, but is also nice.

Then I also use the Laserbtb diffraction caps which fit on their pens and HL series lasers

Hi hwang21,
you consider 11.99 per diffraction expensive for a quality product?

Hey Danefex, my 450 nm 1w I purchased from you last December is certainly the stud of my collection. It is a GREAT build you did for me! I am happy you enjoy my pics, when are you going to do more burning crystal photo's?
