Fun but be careful you don't get smoke on the lens and you really should have worn glasses that close. Looked like a pretty reflective surface.

I was wearing safety glasses the entire time my friend :) It was very reflective. Without the glasses it would've been very hard to see to burn the words. On top of probably going blind by the end lol

I had a 500 mw. It burned that well when focused with a lens. I could cut white paper with precision.

That's cool :) Yeah both of these lasers cut solid white paper eaaily too. When I first started messing with these lasers I didn't know anything about the focus lol I shinned them on white paper and it did not burn at all...i was like wth it will burn anything but solid white stuff????

Then when I finally found out how the focus worked on them I was stoked!!! I focus them and they burn thru white paper easily! Made my day the first time I found this out lol

They will always burn colors that absorb light faster then say white.. Once you start getting into the 1w and above it'll burn just about any color..
