Wow, I thought it would be the same laser magic show vid that has been reposted a million times but its actually something different!

With as much fog as they had on stage, it makes me think that it could have been done with a low power laser. 1-5mw.

I say so because when the smoke sort of clears away from him, you can't see the beam at all during those times. If he had a 30mw laser with even a little smoke, the camera would've been able to pick up that beam nice and bright.

I agree. Anything small enough to be concealed in the hand probably isn't class 4. :)

If you mean how he manage the beams, usual tricks with pointers and mirrors ..... if you mean how he do the trick of the floating ball, i can suppose with a well balanced airflow (have not seen those "fountains" that keep a ball floating on the top of a water jet, or those toys that keep a ping-pong ball floating on an air jet ? ..... suppose something similar, is the more easy way to do it)

and no, for the visibility that it have in a dark space filled with smog, probably not more than 5 or max 10 mW :D
