I did a quick video demonstration showing how laser safety glasses can help protect your eyes.

I remember when I first started getting into the high powered lasers I had no clue there were even laser safety glasses out there lol :shhh:

I seen a video on youtube of someone popping balloons and burning stuff with a laser and was like "That's freaking Awesome!!!....I gotta get one of those!"

I had no idea how dangerous lasers actually were. I knew not to shine a laser directly in my eye or anyone else's eye, but what I didn't know when I bought my first high powered laser was that it could actually damage your eyes simply by looking at the bright light it makes when shinning it on stuff. :spank:

The more I got into reading about them is when I found out all of this.

Luckily I found out about this fairly quick

I know there are others out there and possibly even new members coming into the forums that may not know how important laser safety glasses are so I hope this video will help anyone that doesn't already know or understand how important it is to always wear laser safety glasses especially while shinning or burning things up close with lasers.

I hope this video will help at least someone :)

Enjoy! :pop:

Nice one!!

You are 100% right and lucky you took the time to learn --many do not know and the guys marketing laser downplay the risk and don't mention laser goggles or why there is a real need for them.

With the low cost of portable high powered lasers, all facets of laser safety is needed more than ever.

Nice video John. When you get a chance check outthese I own a pair and they are considered by many to be one of the best on the market. I see tons of people buying and building high powered freedom beams lol without having any regard for eye safety. It's not worth damaging your seeing balls lol
