What is special about the threads at the tail-end ? I see that they are squarish ( how do you say that ? ) instead of triangle form.

As far as Im aware square threads are harder to make, but stronger and have much less play than triangular ones, so they are generally considered superior! ;)

BTW beautiful pics as usual!

Great host, and great pictures

How does this host compare to the metallic ones on their site? There's no way to get this anymore, right? haha

IIRC There are still about eight to ten available... than that's it.

I own two, tempted to get a third... by far my favorite looking host, the feel of it is hard to describe.

My only, ONLY dislikes with this laser... no tail clickie, and there is a plastic sleeve for the battery which is just a tad too tight.

I think Hakzaw1 has some green Ti-B lasers left.

Titanium feels different than steel. Steel is just gray/silver color. The hue of titanium is more colorful.

Beautiful pics, as always Blord. After viewing your excellent photos, I Broke down and had to order one for myself.
As for the square cut threads, as grainde mentioned, they are much stronger, and you will be less likely to "crossthread" anything using them.

Looks like more than 133mw. Interesting

Images are not an accurate way of metering power. The camera type, exposure and other settings will make the beam look brighter or dimmer. Some people use fog to enhance the beam as well. You can make 40mW look like 4W if you really wanted to.

I use matches to create smoke locally to enhance the beam. Or I burn some plastic with high power lasers. :)
